Back to Work

Well, it had to come to an end sometime. My maternity leave is over and I returned to work this last weekend. I had mixed feelings going back. I was excited to see the people I work with and share with them how much I love being a Mommy, show them pictures and brag about Pidgie's beautiful smile. On the other hand I was sad to leave my beautiful baby. Adam is doing very well with Pidgie while I am gone and that has made it easier to go back. She has been getting better at drinking from the bottle and it is quickly becoming Adam's favorite time with her. She loves her Daddy time. She smiles at the mention of Daddy and when he visits during his work day she always gives him a big smile.

Her acid reflux is well controlled with the medication and the gas drops have nearly stopped the afternoon crankies. With me going back to work Pidgie will be part of a baby-sitting co-op with Bonnie. Bonnie will be watching Cambria on Mondays while I work the day shift and I will be watching Ashley on Wednesdays while Bonnie works the day shift. This will allow Pidgie and Ashley to become hard and fast friends. One day they will actually be able to claim that they grew up together and knew each other forever.

Looking forward to a Rockies game in a couple of weeks that we are going to with Cambria. There should be some posts before then, but keep your eyes open for the Rockies game pictures.
